Emily Utting is a strategic marketing and communications leader with a passion for bridging the gap between finance and storytelling. Her career began in entertainment, developing a foundation in narrative-driven communication, before transitioning into financial communications, where clarity, trust, and precision matter most.
Emily currently serves as AVP, Marketing at Atrium Mortgage Investment Corporation (TSX: AI) and its manager, CMCC Group of Companies, a leading alternative provider of debt and equity financing to the Canadian real estate market. In this role, Emily leads marketing and communication across a suite of public and private investment products, overseeing positioning, marketing strategy, and investor relations initiatives that support capital raising, shareholder engagement, and long-term business growth.
Emily holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto (“UofT”) and a Digital Marketing Management Certificate from UofT Continuing Education. She is a CFA Level I candidate, has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and serves as Co-Chair of the 100 Women in Finance Early Career Committee, Toronto Chapter.
